CHP Flooring Renovations
Beginning May 13th, 2024 we are undergoing renovations here at Cole Harbour Place as we replace the majority of the flooring on the main level. This project runs from May 13th until July 8th currently and will have impacts on how the building is accessed during different phases of the project. We will publish additional information on the impacts on our members and customers during this time, but we will remain open during the entire renovation.
May 13th-May 31st, 2024- Demolition continues
Monday, June 3rd 1:00 pm-5:00 pm- Clock entrance will be closed as some work is done. The lower pedway entrance will be accessible for entrance on the lower level during this time.
June 17th- Demo begins down the changeroom hallway, it is dusty in that area.
Monday, June 24th through Friday, June 28th-
As we move forward with our flooring project we regret to inform you that all changerooms will be CLOSED next week (Monday, June 24- Friday, June 28th) to allow for the flooring to be laid in that area. Staff will be on-site to reroute patrons through Scotia 1 to access the TRX area and 3rd floor fitness centre.
During this phase of the project access to the elevator down the changeroom hallway will also be impacted. For those who require the use of the elevator, we will have staff on-site help redirect people to a different elevator to access the 3rd-floor fitness centre.
We understand that this is an inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
Wednesday, June 26th- Ramp at the clock entrance will be closed. Please use pedway entrance for a barrier free entrance to the main level
Friday, June 28th- Changerooms have reopened
Wednesday, July 3- regular gym access, including elevator are back in service
Monday, July 15- The ramp at the clock entrance will be closed for the next few days for flooring to be done. Barrier-free access for the first floor is available at the pedway entrance.
