Fitness Classes

Fitness Classes

    Beginning Monday October 11, 2021 bookings for most fitness classes will no longer be necessary. Fitness classes are included with memberships (except gym only membership), or can be accessed by buying a day pass. Fitness classes are first come first serve in the event there are very large attendance numbers for particular classes.

    The following classes will still need to be booked and paid for in advance as there are space and equipment limitations:

    • Spin 
    • Hiit 
    • Bootcamp 
    • Chair Yoga/ Chair Fit 

    Fitness Classes Cards

    Members will check in at the front desk by scanning their membership card and having their proof of vaccination checked. If going to a fitness class in the Dance studio or Stewart Hall you will be given a program card once you swipe your card that you will need to pass to the instructor. No one will be permitted into classes in these rooms without this card

    Those going to classes in the TRX, or spin rooms will also have to check in at the desk and have their proof of vaccination checked at that time but will not need to provide cards to the instructor as you so still need to register for these classes before attending.


    Attending Your Activity

    • Masks are to worn at all times when inside when not physically excerising. Please keep your mask with you at all times so that this can be achieved;
    • Classes available for Ages 12+;
    • Participants must their own yoga mats to ALL yoga classes;
    • Please follow staff directions and safety protocols while inside the facility. Stay home if you are feeling unwell; and
    • Be kind and patient with everyone. Pace yourself as you return to physical activity.

    Aqua Aerobics

    A water fitness class for everyone. Everyone who will be entering the building for this class needs to register before attending. Please only arrive 10 minutes prior to your booking.     Aqua Bootcamp

    A water fitness class for everyone. Everyone who will be entering the building for this class needs to register before attending. Please only arrive 10 minutes prior to your booking.     Aqua Yoga

    Yoga in the water, great for all levels. Please bring a yoga mat or towel. CHP will not be supplying any mats for this class.     Body Sculpt

    Body Sculpt is a muscle conditioning and endurance class for the whole body, which puts a great deal of focus on correcting the posture. By the use of Body Bars, dumbbells, and Step platforms, it challenges and sculpts your muscles. Everyone who will be entering the building for this class needs to register before attending. Please only arrive 10 minutes prior to your booking.     Bootcamp

    Be prepared for a dynamic full body workout that includes drills, weights, plyometrics, and a ton of exercises utilizing your body weight. This head-to-toe functional training program is designed to be both fun and challenging for all fitness levels! Please bring your running shoes to every class, we will be going outside weather permitting. Everyone who will be entering the building for this class needs to register before attending.     Booty Fit

    A great workout that targets key areas to improve muscle strength and cardio ability. Everyone who will be entering the building for this class needs to register before attending.     Cardio Sculpt

    Chair Fit

    Beginner exercise challenges the body and mind, using weights, music and stretching techniques. All levels welcome!     Choose to Move

    Full body workout at a low intensity with the use of stability balls, bands, sliders and bender balls. This is multi-level class built for anyone.     Combat Fit

    This 60 min kick box style class is designed to work your entire body. Using self defense techniques, bodyweight exercises and core strengthening exercises you will have fun and get sweaty. Following along with the music you will participate in an instructor led group class that is designed to challenge each participant based on individual fitness levels. We recommend that you bring a yoga mat, towel and lots of water .

    Core and Yoga

    A combination of a great yoga class combined with some focused core work for a full body workout. Good for all levels. Please bring a yoga mat or towel.     HIIT

    High intensity interval training is one of the most effective ways to get you fit, period. This class will include a mix of cardio, strength, endurance, and mobility. This class is available to all members and all exercises can be modified to fit your needs. Everyone who will be entering the building for this class needs to register before attending.     Karma Yoga

    A free yoga class that everyone can attend, Yoga for all levels. Please bring a yoga mat or towel.     Spin

    Spin is intended to be a fun, energetic, and heart-pounding cardio workout great for all ages and fitness levels. This class is designated to be at your own pace, you'll experience a highly effective, total body workout.
