Inclusion Private Lessons
CHP private inclusion lessons are 30-minutes in length and designed for ages 5 and up. These lessons are designed for swimmers who have specific adaptations or disabilities and require additional one on one support.
Children under the age of 5 are not eligible for private lessons and are recommended to begin with our Skippers program.
Inclusion Group Lessons
CHP Inclusion group lessons are designed for swimmers who have specific adaptations or disabilities and require additional support. Each lesson has a maximum of 3 swimmers and has 2 instructors for increased support. Inclusion group lessons are available for Swimmers 1,2 and 3. Please follow the conversion and comparison chart as usual.
Swimmers 1
These swimmers have completed Skippers 1 and 2 or are taking the first step in their swimming journey. These lessons take place in the main pool where they will be introduced to skills to increase their comfortability in the water. They will progress to completing their front and back floats and glide independently.
Swimmers 2
These swimmers will be introduced to swimming 10-15m of front and back crawl, this lesson has a big emphasis on flutter kicks on their back and sides. In this class, they will learn whip kick for the first time and learn water-smart skills
Recommend for children who have completed Swimmers 1 or Skippers 3 and/or 4.
Swimmers 3
These swimmers will focus on front and back crawl techniques and learn self-water rescue skills like a forward roll into deep water and treading water. In this class, they will perfect their whip kick skills and be introduced to a kneeling dive.
Recommend for children who have completed Swimmers 2 or Skippers 5.
