Day Camps

Summer will be here before you know it! Our camps will begin the first week of July and run until the end of August. Our camps this year will be:

Sports, Camera rolling and… Action!, Claymation, Geocaching, Skating, Mad science, Dance, Little Chefs and a weekly Themed camp. Details for each camp will be posted shortly.

Anything & Everything (5 yrs - 12 yrs)

This camp samples a little bit of everyting. Typical activities will include a daily swim, arts and crafts, games and sports and/or walking outings around the community. Each week will feature a different theme.

Camera rolling and… Action! (8 yrs - 12 yrs)

This year’s drama camp is being over twice this summer. Over these two weeks, campers will learn the basics of being on set and filming! Our creative director Shevon, will inspire campers to create exciting costumes, sets and make up design with a film for kids to take home at the end of the week.

Claymation Computer Camp (10 yrs - 12 yrs)

The Cole Harbour C@P Site's Claymation Summer Camp offers the opportunity for campers to create their own films! The camp consists of imagin a film, designing the characters and set as well as directing the entire production! On the final day, camper will have their movies put on DVD's so they can be shared with family and friends! Everyone is welcome and no computer experience is required.

Dance Camp (9 yrs - 12 yrs)

Join our Dance Instructors for some ballet, tap and hip hop dance moves. Learn all the steps and bust a move on the dance floor! A small recital will be showcased on Friday.

Geocaching (10 yrs - 12 yrs)

Does your child LOVE the computer and video games but you wish they could get out more? Then this may be the camp for your child.

Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunt using a GPS that is sweeping the world. Geocaches are all around you, no matter where you are, you just need to know where to look. Get your child into a new hobby and maybe make it a family activity.

Campers will learn to load the specially designed GPS units with the "caches". Learn how to use the GPS to track their location, where they are as compared to where they are going and learn some basic preparedness safety before they go!

Little Chefs (5 yrs - 7 yrs) / Crazy Chefs (8 yrs - 11 yrs)

Campers will spend time in the kitchen making and baking goodies. They will learn how to read a receipe and correctly follow the instructions, proper nutrition and of course eat their creations. The groups will explore label reading and prepare a meal to take home.

Nature Rangers

An ultimate experience for children interested in nature, science, the environment and preservation. If your child enjoys being outdoors, this camp is for them! Your child will participate in hiking, gardening, nature crafts, cooking, healthy exercise, swimming, plus loads of games!

School's Out

What a great way to spend a day! Our program will start with ice breakers games that will allow everyone to get to know eachother. After that we will be swinging into high gear with a skate, baking. swimming, scavanger hunts, library visit, outdoor activities, cratfs and much more. We are busy so please pacl lots to drink, snacks and a lunch!

Skating Camp (5 yrs - 12 yrs)

This camp provides the campers the opportunity to get in some summer skating. Skating lessons, games and activities will be from 9am - 12pm, and there will be lots of fun outdoor games and swimming in the afternoon.
